Where My Heart Lies Today Because of Yesterday

The first of these three poems -- "There Are No Words" -- was written in 2018 after an earlier massacre at a school and is far too timely today. The second -- Que Sara, Mother's Stare" -- was written as a response to beauty and love, but today is a glimpse of what 19 mothers just lost in the blink of an eye. The third -- "Peace" -- is both a prayer and a reminder that "keeping the peace" by means of inaction or silence has nothing, finally, to do with true peace!

God bless you and yours!
